The SIN-NEC project addresses the need to enhance sustainability and internationalization competences of less-experienced, newcomers Armenian (AM) and Ukrainian (UA) Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with the support of 3 EU partners (2 HEIs, 1 private company) and 1 experienced AM HEI.
The project, based on a comprehensive self-assessment, will build capacities of academics, managers and administrative staff on planning and development of strategies and action plans towards internationalization and sustainability. Training of the teachers will focus on innovative pedagogics and digital tools in virtual environments to enhance their internationalization potential, sustainability and sustainable entrepreneurship.
Main project results:
Internationalization and sustainability are growing missions of Higher Education institutions (HEIs) worldwide aimed to promote a high quality and interconnected academic system responding to the emerging global challenges and the training needs of the new students’ generation.
The Erasmus+ program supports via the Capacity Building for Higher Education calls also the internationalization capacities and impact of less experienced-, new-comers universities from Partner countries.
The interconnected SIN-NEC activities by knowledge transfer and best practices exchange will promote the internationalisation the newcomers HEIs and enhance the awareness on sustainability aspects that could be used as a model to be further exploited in other environments.
